Thermogenesis

Thermogenesis is the increase of body heat generated during digestion. Consuming thermogenic foods may promote higher metabolism and increase the amount of calories burned in the process. The thermogenic properties of capsaicin in chili peppers and catechins in green tea may enhance fat loss when consumed regularly.

Hydration

Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water per day will boost energy and metabolism, curb your appetite and prevent your body from retaining water, which can lead to puffy, swollen extremities and a bloated appearance.
