If you’re like us, you dive headfirst into autumn and revel in all its goodies – apple pies, squash-laden stews and pumpkin EVERYTHING – so it’s no big stretch to add some fall flavor to your beauty routine. One easy way is to create your own pumpkin spice body scrub and get all the skin smoothing properties with a cozy twist.
You will need:
- 1 cup brown sugar (or 1.5 cups white sugar)
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seed oil (or another oil, such as coconut)
- 1/2 – 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Combine all ingredients, increasing or reducing amounts until you get the consistency you prefer. Mix and store in an airtight jar. That’s it!
You can use your favorite oil, like coconut, almond, jojoba or olive, but we love the idea of using pumpkin seed oil for this particular recipe.
